Posted August 9, 201014 yr I have 2 hen's that are ALWAYS bickering! Its usually between just the 2 of them, but occasionally they will pick on my older boy... I am putting them in seperate cages in a minute, but does anyone have any idea what their problem(s) could be? Obviously some birds just don't get along, but I and so scared they are gonna kill each other or another bird!
August 9, 201014 yr Budgie females are famous for bickering over who owns the perch. Usually it can be solved by more space. Edited August 9, 201014 yr by KAZ
August 9, 201014 yr Author They seem to have sorted themselves out! I moved the perches so there is more room between them. I'm ot sure what size the cage is... but i've separated the 7 between 2 cages that are the same size. I'll measure them in the morning.
August 9, 201014 yr Hi Sunshine, In your other post, you mentioned that they had been in your mom's aviary for a couple of years. They probably feel like they are in each other's space, since they are in a cage now. It sounds like they are improving. It's nice that you have two cages, so you have the option of splitting them up if necessary.
