I'm having some trouble with deciding what mutation my new budgie Froot Loop is. He seems to be opaline, yelloface/goldenface, skye violet budgie. Does anyone know what he is?

I think he is sky violet because there is violet on mixed in witht the blue, it doesn't show in the pictures much though.

As i mentioned on your other thread Im leaning towards goldenface opaline cobalt. Sky violet is possible, but it is usually an even shade whereas cobalts tend to have darker flushing of colour around the neck and rump area - skies have nice even colouring.

but df or single untill he is 6 months you wont know

if single factor the bird will turn green all over so

and if df only up to his chest will be green then the cobalt below that

but definitely Goldenface bird
