This is my first post in this forum so I hope I've chosen the correct category. I have a slightly odd question regarding avocados.

Today I recieved a body/hand lotion which contains avocado oil in it. I know that avocados are toxic to budgies, so I'm concerned about using this lotion on my body and hands. Is it safe to do with a budgie in the house?

I think your lotion for you will be fine. It would be more of an issue if it was avocado a la naturale and being eaten by the birds.

Must oils and creams would contain less then 10 % avacado, check out the ingredients on it and it will say. I don't think it will do any harm though.
