Please Help Me, I Think My Budgie Is Sick -_-

Hello Over The past for days I Have been noticing drastic changes in my budgie.

Day 1- His Feet Where starting to go a browney orange colour.

Day 2- Feet where continuing to get worse, Had a sort of squishy looking texture. Aslo His cere has strated to change colour in the middle from light blue to brown.

Day 3- Was Working All day and left Him with my parents.

Today- His Feet Look Dry and are Still A Dark Orange/brown colour aslo toenails some toenails on other foot are statting to go darker rather than a light pink they are going to a dark red- blackish.

He Is Sleeping Right now so i will post pics n the morning. Anyone know What this is?

Extra Info- Aslo i have checked up the price of a consiltation to avarian vet and is to expensive for me in my current situation.

Any Help will be much appriceated.

It may be leg mites, but if it was that it would be scaly. Pictures would help alot! Is he fluffed up, or not eating?

We need those photos...

More questions... is he behaving normal, is he hunched over, is he fluffed up, what are his poo's like, is he eating/drinking normally, is his bottom dirty, has he lost weight?????

If he appears unwell at all, get him inside with a warm lamp over him. If we can't offer solution once seeing pictures, he will need to see a vet. Being a responsible pet owner you owe him that.

We don't know that yet KAZ. I have had a male birds cere turn brownish when he was sick. I forgot what is was, but cere does change colour sometimes.

Cere has been previously described as LIGHT BLUE changing to brown not boys bright darker blue changing to brown. I still say its a female.

oh, woops. Sorry I didn't notice the light blue, only blue. Could it be hormones within the bird making its skin change? (I am only guessing that, I don't know much about health)

Please post photos ............link in my signature on how to do that

not until we know whats going on........moisturising cream NO

You'll need better photos. I can tell anything from them. We need nice close up CLEAR photos. Do them tomorrow in natual light and post again. IF it is a mite of some sort, and the skin appears dry, olive oil can help, but until we see better photos, I wouldn't put anything on her.

I dont think anything major is wrong

SHE may have caught her toes in the cage and what you are seeing is bruising healing the way bruises do.

and SHE looks healthy and happy

and SHE had better have a girly name cos SHE is definitely a girl budgie ;)

He is a she :)

SHE ;):D :budgiedance: :budgiedance:

Ditto... SHE! ;) I have seen that before in a picture on the internet. Some sort of bacterial thing. Or it may just be a bruise.
