Posted July 10, 201014 yr Hi I have recently recieved some new breeding cabinets they are a little messy how should I go about cleaning them?? They are made of MDF. Thanks Jack!
July 10, 201014 yr MDF will absorb any water, cleaning product and poop. Have they been painted or sealed in any way ? If not why are you using MDF cabinets which will soak up any moisture and be harmful to birds if they chew it ?
July 10, 201014 yr Author One second I will double check what wood ext is used..Sorry. They are built with a timber frame and have a 8mm ply board attached. How do i clean them? Should i paint ext..?
July 10, 201014 yr do you have trays underneath the perches ? anything else would be scrape and clean, vacuum out scrub walls with white vinegar sprayed on. Sandpaper any grotty perches or walls if they wont come clean.
