Posted June 24, 201015 yr Just about 5 minutes ago I took Koko out to hand-feed her some green lentils I prepared for them yesterday. She was doing fine nibbling on some pieces I was giving her then all of a sudden she flew off her play stand onto the ground (She's clipped) then I went over to pick her up. I checked to see if she was okay then put her back on the stand once again to let her calm down. A couple seconds after putting her on the stand, she flew towards her cage (A couple feet away) then suddenly swooped down and hit the dresser that their cages were on. (It wasn't that hard, maybe as hard as tapping someone on the head) then fell rapidly to the ground. I half ran over to where she was and looked at her from where I was standing. She looked fine and was waiting for me to pick her up. She was alert and looking up at me. I picked her up and put her in her cage, then I noticed that she had blood on the tip of her beak. She kept grinding her beak and opening it then rubbing it on her perch. She rubbed a little blood on the perch while doing this. I watched her in her cage and was looking all over her for where the blood was coming from. It almost looked like she was eating something the way she was grinding her beak, but I'm sure it was blood. I then ran upstairs to get a Q-tip then went back down to check on her. The blood was dried on her beak and she wasn't doing the grinding anymore. So I rubbed her beak with the Q-tip and while she was trying to bite the Q-tip I looked inside of her mouth and I couldn't really see anything wrong with it. She now looks a little more fluffed up than normal and a bit uncomfortable, but I might just be a little too worried. The bleeding looks like it stopped but what should I do now? What should I do if it starts bleeding again? Please, I'm just so worried about her. I'll go check on her now to see how she is. Please help! Oh, also. When I took her out to check her beak, she took a really watery yellow poop, is this normal? Edited June 24, 201015 yr by Kassidy

I feed her some millet spray crushed on some halves of grapes to make sure she ate something and she seemed much happier, and calmer after seeing Kasper. I'll still keep my eye on her though.
