Baby....At this stage it is a very pale blue with no seen markings on wings, a few very faint bars on cap and light purple cheek patches?

Just a poorly marked opaline spangle?

I'm thinking a very suffused double factor Spangle.

That's what I was thinking, Jen144. He/she is very pretty!

i would agree :D as theirs no markings on wings its classified as df  very nice bird also

unless of course dad is split cinnamon ??????

What a pretty girl! Wait until she moults properly - cinnamon will darken after the first moult. If no markings after that then she is a suffused DF. If it were a cock you could say definietly it is a suffused DF but a hen leaves the cinnamon option still open.

The cheek patches are slightly coloured so it could be a cinnamon spangle (provided it is female). I have seen double factor spangles with this much suffusion but they usually have white cheek patches

i was wondering about the cheek patches Nev. I was thinking DF spangle. could be cinnamon as others say

Thanks Everyone......

I am leaning towards this bird being female but would not like to say 100% just yet....

I also got a beautiful df spangle from this pairing.....
