August 2, 201015 yr More mammoth budgies mate and lots n lots of feather too. You are gonna beat the pants of anyone in your club once these babies get on a perch in a show cage
August 2, 201015 yr Author More mammoth budgies mate and lots n lots of feather too. You are gonna beat the pants of anyone in your club once these babies get on a perch in a show cage no i dont think so these are nice babys yes nice and big but i doubt i will be beating anyone fast they have some good contenders in my club and lot of them only breed for fun so dont do the big shows yet take out the club shows quiet easily im not going to be showing myself as yet im just building my own stud up i am getting their quicker than i thought but still alot of improving to do i do like the spangle marks on the little fella though nice dark crisp most my bred birds have been no dark factor birds this past season bar a few greys so i better start pairring for a bit of df or everything will become light with no dark ive been pairing for results not color or anything just for size and face feather so feel im achieving that
August 2, 201015 yr They look really good GB, i like the first one the best so far but the other 2 are still feathering so hard to tell. You should have a little shot at showing as it helps you find out where you are at and plus if you leave it to long you will be up in the next level against me No serious you should mainly around your area like me and maybe the shields. Don't worry about those other breeders, you know sometimes us beginners can beat the pants off the Champion breedings. Enter for the fun of it, if you win anything great if you don't you will learn something. You have a chance as a beginner but the next level is much harder as the judges don't allow for beginner breeding so I am packing myself because I go up soon. Which is wanted I have wanted for a couple of years so the judges take me seriosly but now that it has happened I really want to stay in beginners . I'm a sook hey, it's only because I have had 2 rotten years of clear eggs. And anything good has no tail

And anything good has no tail nar im not worried about showing yet **** i only been breeding since sep last year show birds and this only my third round of pairs have you ever looked at the possibility your birds are getting tail rot in nest ?? as no tail isnt always from good feather and not a sign of good bird in my eye also it its hard to get out of stock if it is from feather i dont keep tail less birds unless caused by other reason than apparent feather quality (personally i believe its just a mild case of fm nothing to do with good feather id say its bad if they dropping out not good } but can be caused by feather rot which is different birds born with tail then it drops after first molt never regrows it tries but after growing about two or three centimeters feathers all soft and black at end and pulls out with black rotten end i dont remember what causes it or how to stop it

All my birds have tails when young just a few have lost them after their 1st moult and some when they have turned 18months and they are my best birds maybe it is tail rot.
