How many of us on here are actually breeders and how many are just keeping Budgies as pets?

 

Me , I am just keeping Budgies as pets. I won't get into the breeding business yet. I will wait until I am older if I want to breed Budgies still.

I think you will find that most of us started out like you with pet birds.

A search of the system has found that 1259 BBC members are breeders.....that may not be current members but is the total of members who have stated they are breeders

:grouphug: Whoa , that's a fair bit. I see most of the active members on here are breeders .

I've just started breeding, does that count? I keep them as pets too. They are pretty tame, except for Skye. Lucky mum was tolerant when I bred, poor thing had to put up with my big head peering in the nest box.

Not many are true breeders,they are just,putting to birds together,

& finishing up, with some chicks if they are lucky & then they sell them

again if there lucky.
