hi everyone i just started to build a budgie breeding cage its a bit like

this one but it is not as good. mine will have a pop out box on it.

mine is only made out of a old draw from desk that

i found in the shed.

i just put some netting on the opening of the door.its not quite finished yet though.

cant wait till it is finished then all i have to do is buy some more budgies!!

Is the cage your building bigger than this? Because this is only a show cage

That appears to be a smaller show cage or transport cage not a breeding cage mate.Will wait to see what your breeding cage looks like

Breeding cage needs to be a minimum of 2 feet wide ( 60cms ) by 1 and a half foot deep ( 45cms ) and same high.

I am going to give hayden the benefit of the doubt and say that surely you meant show cage, but they why would it need a pop out box?

Other measurements Hayden??? When you feel better ...go take the tape measure and check. No point building it if it isnt big enough. Birds will not breed in a prison :wine
