Well for those of you who dont know Tammy she is a double factor clear flight split recessive pied or df violet norm/rec pied . Umm well she is already hand tame and loves company and is slowly starting to mimic my whistles. going to start teaching it some tricks if anyone knows any let me know. ohh and she preens me

shes a df violet norm/rec pied well thats all i can think given her spot on head srunk as she grew to a rec patch not dom

Update well i finished her treatment of oxy b, shes had a sneeze since i got her and it was so nice of gb to send me some oxy b in the mail :wine thanks. she always runs to the side of the cage when i get home from tso she can get out , her nails healing up fine and now lately shes started to sit just behind the door and give out the cutest chirps if i leave the room to do somthing . and she loves my laptop chews up all the keys and gets in the way when im doing somthing. shes eating right now and gives me the duck sound to tell me to **** off lol.

it was just a precautionary thing see if you can get some pro biotics from pet store if not i will send you a bit just keep up clean freash water daily

My budgie hen I had years ago that talked, didn't do many "tricks" but she used to dance as well...it was so cute

I started by whistling a tune and using my finger like a conductor :bliss: , she used to bob her head up and down from side to side......she loved it !!

well we can take her to vet but if she seems normal and hasnt got staning abouve cer then i dont know my birds all fine now no one snezzing so

it their something in house that could be causing it or

not

Theres no staining,seems normal, still sneezing though ohh and she usally sneezes after she drinks water and water will discharge from her cere. most of them came out blurry sorry .arrrr damn camera. i put some budgie sounds on from youtube and tammy whistleing and climbing all over the speaker lol

im really lost on the snezzing

truley as shes fine in all other aspects

but as i said im not sure why she does it

mabe someone else could give sugestion why

 

i just think if shes still snezing by mid june we should take her for a cheack up

i will pay half

to avian vet though one in springvale

it cant be mights

your bird can not have mites or worms it was ivomectomed at two weeks innest then again at 6 she would be due now again around june so not long

you take her to vet if you feel the need

and i will help you with half cost of conseltation but any more is up to u

but to be honest

she seemed fine here yes she snezzed but not heaps but not enough for me not to be concened (you would not have her if i thought she was ill

i treated her as i did all my birds (well you did the treating but i treated mine all for same days with same stuff

 

my birds are all fine and tammy sneezed less than some them

i kept them warm for two weeks at a temp of 27 and constent regulated not on off but now their back to no extra warmth

 

i do find it weird shes snezing and only thing i was concered about is she may have got cold in nest box and it be something worse than just cold

as shes had snezzing from two weeks old

worse as in pneumonia but to find out if she had that im sure would invole exrays and all sorts

she cant have a infection as was treated with oxy b for three days

but i dont know why shes snezing mate im at a lose

let me know what you deside its not my choise as not my bird

im not takeing my birds to vet and some their are still after everything still snezzing but its cold as was 4 degree last night

so..... im sorry i have no awnser or advice for you

im sure others here may tell you theirs if you ask

how may sneezes a day would somone call normal??. ohh and she nearly always sneezes after drinking water and the water comes out of her cere.

shift the perch away from the food container as its too close and she will poop in her seed. Make sure there is more seed in the dish than the amount in it now.
