Can Someone Tell Me What You Call These Breeds?

Hi,

I have a few questions to ask about the budgies we have. We are breeding them as a bit of a hobby but now I am curious as to what particular breeds they are.

1. I have this hen who has just hatched 5 babies, two of which have turned out like her. Can you please tell me what she is. We were told by the breeder that we bought her off that she's a Lacewing. Is this correct? How much could I expect someone to pay for the babies?

This is one of her offspring....

2. Can someone please tell me what this hen is. We just bought her from a pet shop.

3. These are some more that have hatched recently, are these Lacewings?

4. This is the father of the above, is he a Clearwing?

Thank you and I hope someone is able to answer my queries!

I'll do the best I can...I'm still learning

The first one is a spangle :star: Lacewings are either all white or yellow with cinnamon wing markings. The baby is a spangle also.

The second hen I think is a grey dominant pied.

The little chicks (are they three different ones?) they all look dilute to me.

And the last one just looks like a normal green cock

I hope I got them right, if not please someone come correct me because I don't want to give incorrect information :D

Did you put the second hen in with the others straight away? Is the last cock grey wing?

As Kaz said he is a greywing , and the chicks in the photos above are greywings also, This means the mother is greywing or split greywing.

Greywing is a recessive gene.

this chick is a greywing opaline spangle IMG_1444.jpg as evident by the cheek patches.

This is one of my greywing spangle babies 019-20.jpg

Mine is a normal ...yours is opaline

Thanks Kaz. What's the difference between the two? How can you tell mine is an opaline? And by the way, the mother hen is Latino(or so we were hold). She's all yellow with red eyes. You can see her standing beside the green cock in the last photo in my original post. Thanks for all the advise.
