Yep there both 08 birds and there very nice, did you breed them or purchase them from a breeder?

Your boys are lovely. Great buy.

I don't think Boomsticks is opaline. I think just spangle sky blue, but wait for the experts.

I love his gorgeous face.

Right on both accounts. Grey probably has a dark factor too, would be a cobalt if the grey was removed.

If you look at the orignal post provided you'll see the Sky Opaline Spangle is also a Pied.

agreed RIP, i just noticed the patch on the back of the head, this is pied isnt it.

i think your spot on anne101

ps: i commend you on your efforts for saving these 2 budgies and your attempt to save the hen

you are a really nice person

Pps: and your efforts have rewarded you with two lovely birds! :(

and i think what dean from NZ said is correct about the grey but would be cobalt,

as i can see a blue tinge coming through.

Still sad about my hen though.... :)

In this case pied is involved BUT often spangles have the patch on the back of their head where no pied is involved. These patches can also be a spangle thing :D

I don't know much about budgies but i think your birds are stunning. :D
