My budgie seems to talk in his sleep and close his eyes.

 

I thought this was normal, as anyone seen this behavior before?

It is very normal as my little boy, Gilly, is a great one for talking in his sleep. He mostly tends to do it when the telly or radio is on, if I turn them on to mute so I can listen to him then he goes silent....so then i have to turn it off mute and he'll start up talking again (even though he's asleep) and then I try to mute again but he'll be quiet for sure...it's very curious to watch! ha

Mine does it while he is getting settled, that is so cute.

Mine too, chatters to himself when he's getting ready to nap.

Yes indeed, Charley talks in his sleep, very softly...its the cutest thing! He's definitely asleep and trying hard to keep his balance, sometimes it looks like if he nods any further forward he's going to fall off his perch. I sometimes just stop and watch him, he looks so cute!

It's so adorable when they talk in their sleep. Django does it all the time, nothing to worry about.
