Thanks!!

Since they are both blue spangles it is a little easier.

50% blue spangles

25% blue normals

25% DF spangles (white with black eyes)

Since the male is opaline, all hens will be opaline and the cocks will be split opaline.

In terms of shades of blue, it is always hard to tell off pics and the monitor, but I will say they both look like sky-violet's to me, so all offspring should be the same. Like I said, hard to tell off the monitor.

Just a note with the Violet gene it is a single factor or double factor added gene so if both are single factor then you do have a 25% of just a sky blue with no violet factor, 25% double factor violet and then 50% single factor violet.

The figures are correct but from what you have written it is appearing that you are saying 75% of the progeny are visual Violets. In fact if the birds are both Violet Sky then all young produced are Sky or Violet Sky. There will be no visual Violets produced. A visual Violet is a Cobalt with the Violet gene in either single or double factor.
