Posted April 6, 201015 yr i have a hen that i thought was a cinnamon wing but i have put her into a breeding cabinet with a male cinnamon wing and her wings are a lighter colour than his . Now i am not sure of her mutation. Can someone give me their opinion please?
April 6, 201015 yr Author What would be a good partner for her then so i could get some greywing babies. I have her with a cinnamon wing but i only added them to the cabinet yesterday so i can still change her partner. I have no male greywings but i do have a mauve normal. April 6, 201015 yr Another greywing or a split greywing would be best but even a clearwing or a dilute would give you greywing babies.
April 6, 201015 yr or you could put her to the mauve boy and get split grey wing cocks and hens then change partners to another normal id say cobalt if possable keep that dark factor happening and get another lot of split greywing chicks then next year you can pair these half brother sisters and get greywing and normal chicks and all would be very pretty as mauve x mauve = mauve add the yf and half will be yf mauve f or mauve normals add the grey wing factor and you will get yf greywings in mauve and yf mauves in normal and normal mauves all her chicks will be split to grey wing always as its a rececive gene with a cobalt you will get maves and cobalt chicks same story as above Edited April 6, 201015 yr by GenericBlue
