I have just bought a beautiful dark green cock bird, I really like this color and would like to breed some more, what color hen should I put him with?

Thanks, Geoff

Try Cobalt or Mauve normal, cinnamon or opaline it doesn't matter. Cheers Clearwing

can you post a picture? If you want more dark greens you need to pair them with either green or another dark green because dark green is a green bird with 2 dark factors.

id go with mauve or cobalt even violet as you may get a violet dark green which again are deep green very lovley colour

The dark factor can also be taken from blue series birds as Clearwing suggested. Green being dominant anyway :P

A dark green has one dark factor. It is the Olive that has two. :)

You have an unusual way of describing this bird. Is he grey green or dark green ?

Could you post a picture please ?
