I got given a budgie today and i know he is a dominant pied but i am wondering what other mutation. He has a blue colouring in his wing markings and the marks on his head.

 

 

 

Is he maybe a Clearflight Dommie pied Spangle? Or a Dommie Pied Spangle?

 

HAHA maybe I have Spangle brain so it I think it is spangle when it is something else. I'm just guessing

I was thinking spangle but his markings are lighter than my other spangles.

I'll take a wild guess with little reasoning and say opaline? Please correct me.

looks dom pied spangle to me. can't see any colour on wings to say Opaline matches, can you see it in real life?

Dominant pied spangle. The markings appear light because they are thin (like many spangles). If he was greywing the cheek patches and the sky blue body colour would be much lighter

Why should the body colour be lighter if a greywing ?

I see blue bleeding into the head and back of the neck. I'm also tempted to say DF dom pied due to the amount of white on him.
