Just wondering what a cinnamon looks like in the nest. My eldest has only brown on the wings and no black. Thanks in advance. :huh:

You do have a cinnamon or two in your nest Ratzy .........I noticed it the other day.

Its the Dad that passes on cinnamon Ratzy not the mum........females cannot carry or hide cinnamon ...they either ARE cunnamon or they arent. Dads can carry or hide cinnamon and can be visual cinnamon. The chick you have thats cinnamon will be female.

Usually you will see that the chicks have plum coloured eyes at a young age.

Mine are almost three weeks at a guess....they have black eyes. BUT.....The markings are definately brown.
