March 23, 201015 yr Predicting prices is like betting on horses, but not just betting on a winner, but also betting on by what length it'll win by... Well said
March 28, 201015 yr I wonder how this went? Would love to know what the highest and lowest prices were, and also what the birds were like
March 28, 201015 yr Dave McMinn went but said he didnt see anything special so left early. Maybe someone else who stayed knows what they went for
March 29, 201015 yr I went and left an hour into the auction....didn't get anything though the bird I wanted went for little more than I could pay at this stage.... the highest I saw sold was $550 for 08 Cinnamon grey Cock (scoble bird)....not sure on cheapest!!! There were alot of nothing to special birds there....my thoughts anyway!!!
March 29, 201015 yr I would agree. 2 birds I liked - one was a light green sommie pied hen, went for $375 and the next was a cinnamon winged spangle hen, went for $500. A cock went for $550. Nothing really special
March 29, 201015 yr They don't have to be special, to make that sort of money in Sydney, its just the name of the person who is selling the bird. Not good auction to buy at if you are on a small budget.
