February 20, 201015 yr Some beautiful birds there Hilly, love the last two. What are the parents of 2nd last (lt green opaline clearflight/ rec pied) I wouldn't have a clue but he's lovely. Still trying to get my head around genetics.
February 20, 201015 yr Author Hi Robyn thanks for your comments. Sorry I couldn't tell you the exact parents of that bird as they were colony bred and I did a lot of switching around I could guess but a few of my birds can throw that colour combination he is a greywing opaline green dominant pied, guess you could call him a clearflight, I tend to just seperate them into either dominant or recessive pieds. Now I better go and resize all my pics, thought I'd done it before I uploaded them, silly me. Cheers Jenny
February 20, 201015 yr Thanks' Jenny, sometimes I think photo bucket play's silly b.... ,I resize before I upload. Then when you put them on Forum they're huge and it's back to square one, so now I upload at med.

February 21, 201015 yr As I said before Hilly, great birds and pictures. Mine won't let me get great shots like those (maybe it's the camera person)
February 21, 201015 yr Author Thanks for that Kaz :bliss: Thanks Robyn it just boils down to lots of patients and lots of photos and a camera you trust. I still prefer to use my old camera to my new one its just what I'm used to. The great thing about digital cameras is you can take as many as you like and just keep the good ones. Cheers Jenny
