Posted February 7, 201015 yr I have a christmas wreath in my room, my birds seem to really like it, is it safe? they usually don't bite it, and they surely love to sit on it, but the most is the smell, is this okay? A) Will the smell hurt them? If they eat it, will it hurt them? P.S. It's only my lovebirds and budgerigars that take an interest in it. P.S.S. I've checked the list on here, I do not see pine or anything related to it.. I'm not sure what type of christmas tree wreath it is. I've googled around, and I've found several lists that say pine is safe, then again, I see some that say pine is not. As of now, it is in a place where they cannot / do not go. I really would like to put it back because the smell is just so amazing, and if it's okay for them to smell it, then I have a place for it. P.S.S.S. I really appreciate the help this forum gives. I thank each and every one of you who've helped me with all of my annoying questions.

February 7, 201015 yr I'm not a fan of pine, as it often has sticky stuff on the leaves... but not sure of it's safety. I'd say no to be on the safe side. Do you have access to Eucalyptus/Gum trees??? Their leaves also smell great. Maybe you could make your own with a metal coat hanger, Gum leaves/flower/nuts and maybe some safe herbs... I'm sure they'd love it too. You could also poke some millet in there too! Edited February 7, 201015 yr by maesie
