February 11, 201015 yr Just heard that Chris and Joyce Huck will be coming down from Grealdton too! It occurred to me over-night that since my birds are all on Doxy I don't know if I should risk bringing them, ie. risk to their well-being and possible risk to other birds .... will have to contact WABC and ask for guidance.

February 20, 201015 yr Good luck to all that are showing tomorrow,and yes pics would be great......... Gb reminded me that there is a show here in Melbourne tomorrow and today I thought I would go but it is going to be 37 here and 32 in Melbourne so I think to hot to take my little beauties out. Next show March 7th I think adult shield if they get selected.

Holy **** dropped his tail, Holy **** still not fully moulted out - dregs of other things to take and a sh*t load of work hmmmmm......
February 20, 201015 yr Hey Kaz, Yeah I'm still going... Have 9 show cages and just hoping my team looks good for tomorrow... Alot of my birds are starting a moult or dropping a few tail feathers... Merh... I still going if team not up for it though...

February 21, 201015 yr I am home now...birds put away.... BIG show for us...418 birds which is big for here. Little budgie and I and two helpers were on show secretarys table doing the paperwork etc. We have photos both of us....might take awhile to get them up as LB2005 is out for dinner and I havent had mine yet :thumbs_up:
February 21, 201015 yr Author All I can say is that I'm absolutely knackered!!!!!!!!!! The G&G stud managed best Lacewing in Yound Bird Derby and best Lacewing in Adult State Show, plus a commended (and best Grey) in the Derby with the nice young grey in shown in my breeding journal (not Holy Sh*t who had dropped his tail or Holy Cr*p who has not yet fully moulted out yet - the other one). Happy about the commended considering he is a 4 1/2 month old bird. A couple others too, best clearwing in the state show (adults), and best BES in the Derby (youngs). We just managed to get home to settle the birds back into the aviary before it got dark too - bonus!
