Posted February 1, 201015 yr I have two Budgerigars in a 30L x 18W x 38H (Flight cage). I want to get two more, will this suffice? P.S. The budgerigars will be allowed to grow their wings.
February 2, 201015 yr Author Is it a great fit, or is barely able to support them? I want them to be happy, and have lots of room. Remember, they're small pet budgies!

February 2, 201015 yr Author Okay, I'll post pictures ASAP. I get them tomorrow morning, from my local pet store. I do not think there's any breeders around here, and, as much as my local pet store does a good job of taking care of them, I still feel bad that there's a bunch in a cage. I like to get animals from there, hoping I give them a better life.
February 2, 201015 yr New birds have to be kept seperate from existing birds in another cage in another room at least 5 metres away in seperate airspace for a minmum of 30 days quarantine. So do you have any others or are these your first budgies ? Edited February 2, 201015 yr by KAZ
February 2, 201015 yr Author The Two I posted were my first two, and now these two. I do; however, have two love birds, two zebra finches, and a cockatiel.
February 2, 201015 yr Well, as I said....you cannot put the two new ones straight in with the others.
February 2, 201015 yr Author Thank you for telling me that. Would putting the two new ones in a cage next to the old Budgies be okay for a few weeks? or Must I put them in a different room?

February 2, 201015 yr my guess would be not to put them next to the other budgie just in case one of the two budgies you are purchasing(or have purchased) is sick
