Photobucket Account

Featured Replies

Posted

The other week I logged on to my Photobucket account to find that masses of my budgie photos held in the main account had disappeared.

This was not too longer after Photobucket upgraded so I don't know whether it is a glitch and they are somewhere hidden from me or whether someone cracked my account and deleted them (not hard to do, I had the lamest of passwords  )

My question is, IF I close this account and open a new one will all my photos I have posted disappear too?

They are in the default album

Thank you for that, but my question still remains,

If I close this account will all the photos I have posted here on BBC disappear?

Just leave it open Renee and open a new one too.

I think they will disappear.
Thanks for trying Dave

However, I need a definitive answer so I will await the Photobucket expert's return to the forum.

Kaz, you have if I recall rightly about 7 different Photobucket accounts, Can I close an account down and transfer the photos to a new account? or Will once that account is closed do all my posted pics disappear and do I need to upload them all over again?

Just leave it open Renee and open a new one too.
No, I am afraid that is not an option. ;)

Well in addition to the main "Budgies" folder going from 7+pages of photos to "Folder Empty" I am not able to change my password ... in so far that when I enter my old one I get a message saying that that is not it! So in effect my Photobucket account is compromised.

Amazing, I found the default folder!

If you still have the same email address just send a message or what ever it is say you forgot your password and they will send it to by email, I do it all the time

okay, well I have found the default album and want to organize the photos and allocate them to different existing albums.

It says you can select a photo (or photos using the Ctrl key) and drag it and pop it into the album you want.

BUT when I try to do that I get a pop up message: ? undefined. :)

What is that supposed to mean and why won't it do what it says it does?! :)

Reorganising the photos will stuff up any ones you have posted on BBC. Any topics with stuffed up photo links we usually delete.
