Is there is a maximum age you can put a ring on?

I ask because I would like to put rings (just the split plastic ones) on my new birds who are around the 3-4 month age.

I would like someone to show me how they put closed irngs on a bird after 10 days of age??? Because i think there dreamin, or the birds are tiny.

Agreed......some recessive pieds have really skinny legs but most of my chicks are rung between 6-8 days

Me too as I can't do it. I ring most of mine around eights Maybe earlier, I was tied last night and , but seriously someone told me they can ring their birds 14day and up to a month old and these are decent show budgies no little crappy ones.

Maybe they use oil to slip it on.
