Posted January 27, 201015 yr I have a friend who has a budgie and when they got him he looked like a normal albino with red eyes and white feathers. But over a few years his plumage has changed a fair bit. He now has pale brown markings over the white. Sorry no picture but could anyone tell me what his mutation is?

January 27, 201015 yr Yep... I hope to breed it out oneday... I hope... I love the albino and seeing the cinnamon on them really does ruin the look of them... To me anyways...

Maybe but not necessarily. My albinos and clearbodies are one line. There is no cinnamon in that line and I occaisionally get birds with faint brown markings - possibly from the clearbody influence. Cheers PT
January 28, 201015 yr I never thought of that... Thanks PJ... As I'm also going to breed clearbodies may try that & see if they are... Thank you again... Edited January 28, 201015 yr by LittleBudgie2005
