January 25, 201015 yr Wonderful pics Hannah, I think I have a "hormonal imbalanced" spangle. I was advised Aqueous Iodine 3 drops per litre in drinking water may help. Haven't tried it yet. Mine is only 2008 rung. Either way your's is a little beauty. Little character by the look's of it. Edited February 6, 201015 yr by KAZ
January 25, 201015 yr Author Yeh, I've been advised that iodine aswell, I'll get him some soon. Thanks, yeh, he's a character. I love him to bits.
February 5, 201015 yr hi hannah he is so lovely =] i have always wanted a green and yellow pied! i would have got one but they seem so damn hard to find... where abouts did you get him, i live in sydney too are these photos from when he was young? as he still has his full black eyes, just like a baby you are very lucky! grant
February 6, 201015 yr Author Thanks Nope He's nearly 4yrs old in these photo and they were only taken roughly 1 month ago. I got him from pets paradise, since I had know ideas about breeders when I was 10 I've seen plenty of birds from there that look exactly like him, but I guess you'd have to be willing to buy from a pet shop, which some people are against.
February 6, 201015 yr So Hannah, how did the trip go? Sound like Nibbles had a great time. How was the weather?
February 6, 201015 yr Author Turned out that the car heat was the least of our problems. Second day there- Nibbles got lice. Of course, I forgot to pack his lice spray So, I had to go buy another bottle. That night, nibbles had a disturbed sleep. Put him to sleep, turned out the light, 1 minute later he was climbing around his cage. He continued to do that until I turned the light on, and found him upside down on the top of the roof of his cage looking very distressed and panting, hanging my one foot. Put him back on his perch, talked to him for a little while to he was better. Proceeded to turn the light off, and it happened again. This went on for two hours until finally, he stopped. Did that every night, but not as bad as the second night we were there. Apart from that, it was lovely The weather was great :fear
February 6, 201015 yr are these photos from when he was young?as he still has his full black eyes, just like a baby Hi Grant....this is normal for recessive pieds.
