Post a picture of them ( see link on how to post puctures in my signature ) and we can assess their "breeding condition"for you.

Also what is your weather conditions where you are right now ?

Are they moulting ?

How old are they ?

Whats your nestboxes like ?

etc

Providing very little information to us means we cannot help you as easily.

From my experience when birds don't breed it is because they are not ready (in condition) or they are not quite healthy enough or they donb't like each other.

But this is my experience. :budgiedance: I have had quite a few try and kill each other some have execeed.

But if your birds ill a while ago they may not be really ready for breeding yet.

Be helpful and post some pics for us. What the other guys said is pretty right on target.

Just because you have a pr

of budgies & you put them in a breeding cage,

thats not a green light, for them to breed. There

are other things, that come into play. They are not human

& you can't just tell them to breed. :nest:

okay , You tried to breed in the summer ( The hottest time of year and the time that birds Moult) , The birds were sick ! , Now you think their better?? .

Now you still ask a Question why they wont breed.

Instead of asking this Question and then log off , how about you spend sometime reading the forum for info on aviary management and breeding , for all we know you could have two cock birds!!.
