Budgie Keeping Cool

Jessie, our budgie decided to use the little bath dish to cool off yesterday. She got out of the dish and her entire breast was white and looked grey instead of blue. We thought it was weird that it wasn't just blue feathers wet, but actually looked grey. We will post a picture of before and after when she dips in the bath again, we were caught off guard and did not have camera nearby when she did it last time. She also keeps throwing the bells off the swing into the water.

water can change the color from looking darker or bring out the downy feathers more to make it lighter it is very common ;)).No different then when you wet your hair it can change to a darker color and then blow dry it gets lighter.
