Because they made it up.
January 19, 201015 yr I'm sure there is something of a pathway there but you are talking to budgie entusiasts not archaeologists. Might not be the right forum for you to get a sensible answer to this question! Sorry. Might be better if you ask us something like - "Whats the difference between a lacewing and a lutino?"
January 19, 201015 yr I'm with Finnie, all my budgies came frm Budgies and I don't have monkies in my family tree Clearwing
January 19, 201015 yr Author I hope I don't have monkeys in my family tree everyone came from monkeys
January 20, 201015 yr I'm with Finnie, all my budgies came from Budgies and I don't have monkies in my family tree Clearwing okay budgies are a type of parrot so if you figure out what prehistoric animal turned into a seed eating bird you have your answer .... don't you? But I'm with Nubbly here, Birds?: Yes - Dinosaurs?: No
January 20, 201015 yr In prehestoric times there was a type of dinosaur that could fly and it wasn't carnivorus. Most living day birds evolved from dinos. I think parrakeets evolved from apomorphies.
January 20, 201015 yr I think most evolutionists would say that we didn't "come from" monkeys but that humans and monkeys have a common ancestor at some point. I struggle to think that birds "came from" dinosaurs though. Actually I think that birds are so much smarter than they should be if they are supposed to be related to reptiles
January 20, 201015 yr Wow REALLY??????? Gee and I thought there were enough guys out there that were living proof of them having descended from apes (present company excluded of course :offtopic: )
January 20, 201015 yr They came from cats...Really they did....that's why cats and budgies have a love/hate relationship. Though with some its a hate/hate relationship :offtopic: Wow REALLY??????? Gee and I thought there were enough guys out there that were living proof of them having descended from apes (present company excluded of course ) HAHAHA Edited January 20, 201015 yr by Amy S
January 20, 201015 yr If God existed then budgies came from god, but as he's a figment of the laymans imagination (cause thinking is too hard) then we are left to find a real explanation - evolution may in part explain it - in fact the various mutations of budgies and selective breeding is evolution all over (strongest, fitter, bigger, particular colour). Do I come accross as atheist?
January 20, 201015 yr Yep, I am an ape man! Because I smell like one after I have mowed the lawn. You can believe whatever you want - as long as I can too!
January 20, 201015 yr OH MY GOODNESS have you all forgotten im the king of budgies i am the maker of all MWHA HA HA HA (megalomaniac here ) seriously i believe this is a really pointless so far i can see nothing but disrespect for others beliefs that i find appalling im going to say search google see what it comes up with then just believe that as most people would it is no evidence of any evolution that stands up so really ... its like the old did Armstrong really walk on the moon
January 20, 201015 yr im going to say search google see what it comes up with then just believe that as most people would
January 20, 201015 yr here )seriously i believe this is a really pointless so far i can see nothing but disrespect for others beliefs that i find appalling You're right, it was disrespectful and I apologise. Sorry Jeddo, I was just being silly and kidding around. In all honesty I hadn't even thought of where budgies evolved from. Hope you get your answers soon
January 20, 201015 yr Nobody knows for sure how budgies evolved. If you believe in evolution then you might believe they evolved from a dinosaur. If you do not believe in evolution then you might believe that God created them. It really all comes down on what you believe in. Edited January 20, 201015 yr by birdluv

Hope you get your answers soon Yep me too..... sorry for suggesting that some of you guys out there might look (and smell (didn't think of that one CB!)) like big hairy ape men. You know that you CAN get you backs waxed. Some people take themselves WAY too seriously don't they.........? How about we all lighten up somewhat, believe whatever you want - as far as I am concerned or CARE budgies might have been pulled out of some benevolent deity's backside!!!!!! Does it really matter in the whole big scheme of things? For me this was actually one of the most FUN topics - I just can't help the smart *rse comments - sorry about that That's just my sarcastic and weird sense of humour.............. and THAT my dear fellow forum users I won't change. Have a big laugh and get over it Edited January 21, 201015 yr by nubbly5
January 21, 201015 yr Yeah, I didn't think we were really being disrespectful, more like just having fun. But I think Birdluv's answer is about the best one Jeddo is going to be able to get. Here's to diversity and freedom of opinion! :grouphug: Not to mention our senses of humor!

Have a big laugh and get over it no you guys got me wrong i was giggling at all that belive me i just read some what daves comment was then someone else s comment on their dis belief of god sure were all in titled to our own opinion and dont expect people not to give it as this forums about opinions and when something is known knowledge but i do think that one comment was really not put well alot of people believe others dont and i could just see some big debate on much more than how did the bird evolve thats all i love each one of you for your self just im not totally religious but thought that was out of place to just blatantly say gods not true its just that people cant think here bellow is what got me sorry guys but i thought that was not needed not all believe in stuff im one but i believe in other stuff but never tell anyone god is not real as some people are very much believers in god as our creator like evolution of the budgie no one will ever know if god exists so i think he should be not assumed as a figmennt of the laymans imagination i think it was put as the monkey thing and other comments by u all were harmless and not putting a percentage of the human race down as they wish to look towards faith in their life quote from daniel 1 88 i think it was If God existed then budgies came from god, but as he's a figment of the laymans imagination (cause thinking is too hard) then we are left to find a real explanation - evolution may in part explain it - in fact the various mutations of budgies and selective breeding is evolution all over (strongest, fitter, bigger, particular colour).
