Posted January 18, 201015 yr I wonder if the one on the right could be a skyblue clearwing? I have never seen one and evern rarely on photos, so I could use some help... Here he's with a skyblue violet spangle Taken without flash Front
January 18, 201015 yr I am just learning, so we will have to wait for the others. But is it also a spangle?
January 19, 201015 yr Could it be clearwing and spangle, Clearwing? Any chance of opaline in there, too?
January 19, 201015 yr This is what a clearwing should look like however I suspect that this bird might be a clearwing spangle for two reasons. 1/ Because clearwing budgies with very clear wings like we had 50 years ago are now very rare and most clearwing now have markings almost as dark as greywings 2/ Also there is a very small amount of frosting at the base of the tail which is generally a sign of a spangle. The tinge of body colour on the back of the head is also a spangle characteristic Edited January 19, 201015 yr by Neville

He's a very handsome young fella and I intend to breed him later this year, my aim is to get either FBC greywings if paired to a greywing hen or some clearwings, FBC's and greywings if I find an FBC greywing hen to pair him to. Thanks for all you replies!
