Hi Guys, just checked BCV[ Budgerigar Council of Victoria] website, shows start in four weeks. I was wondering how your birds are looking, will you be able to show in Feb. or are your birds like mine stuck in a long moult due to weather? With climate change and new ring issue date will we have to change our shoe dates? Clearwing

Mine will not be ready until March the earlist.....

May is the time you want your best birds in show condition,is readiness for State selections and hopefully the Nationals. Therefore they need to be going into a moult in early to mid March. Best way of doing this is feeding only Jap millet for a week, brings a moult on.
