thank you splat ,my whole aim in my birds is to try and get back the true show fetchers the clear Opaline being one of them

i have a few nice Opaline birds

she has the clearest mantel of them all ,here is a smaller hen her mantel isnt that bad either and as far as stock goes will be a very useful hen when of age

she is end of November chick

mauve hen again

BILD2027.jpg

i really did think this hen was grey but she was very mave looking when i returned her to baby flight so shes going to deepen in colour i can see im very pleased about it

BILD2026.jpg

im very happy with some of my birds breed more good rezults than bad so i must be doing something right

this next lot out should say something as i actually paired with thought

this lot of chicks was still me just playing around to see who is who and who has what in their genetics B) ...so far i have 5 albinos and 3 lacewing chicks

im pleased with that result and am now grateful i fostered some eggs and let the healthiest keep sitting as vet advised i could do if birds looked good they were all doxcyed up intill chicks hatching so they all got good two half weeks of it

and when chicks are three weeks im to do another two weeks

all chicks are well i will get pics of them next :)

they are still pinky stage up to one week

You would have to be real happy with a lot of these chicks mate.........................I would be really proud to see them coming through if I was you

i am kaz i really used my brain to remember what i was taught when i was younger ....it hurt but i must have got it right a bit as their are some really nice bubbys coming through as you said

of course i dont see me benching anything yet only at club nights but this alone will give me an idea of where i place my skills amongst the others and we have some good breeders in our club :) with some lovely birds

and i have some beautiful birds from who i believe in my eyes to be knowing what they are doing

i figure this way i don't need to pay hundreds of dollars for good breed birds

and can achieve some good stock for myself reasonably quick so i can start my own line of breed birds

i can then add the really good birds later but if possible from the breeders whom im dealing with now

even if it means to buy them at actions rather than through them themselves

but that will all be a while off yet B)

im uploading some more pics now and going to take some of my new chick once camera is charged :D
