Posted January 8, 201015 yr I don't have any pictures yet but they are soooooooooo pretty. A 5 month old light green spangle...my first spangle !!!!! I'm so excited :emoticon112: She is such a beautiful green...almost neon lime! The other is a 10 week old little pied...a hen too I think. She is all very pale yellow and powder blue. Their names are Jazz and Blues respectively. Meanwhile, my nutty hen with the eggs on the cage floor is now trying to sit on 6 eggs! She has now let me take the concave insert from the nest box and lay it on the floor in "her corner" under the seed cup and I have gently placed her eggs in the hollow. She does seem to find this easier to arrnge the eggs under her. On the flat floor she'd try tucking them under her but they'd roll out the other side. No idea if any will hatch and I'e lost the light I use to candle eggs with so we'll just have to wait and see

At least you can sneak a peak at the progress any time of day without disturbing her!
