Posted January 5, 201015 yr HI everyone... Coconut is a young budgie that budgieloverkirsty bred for me while she had my birds. When he was a few weeks old I took him out of the nest and have hand reared him ever since. He is now at least two months old and has problems. He was born with an extra joint in one leg up high and the foot on his other leg is curled up. He can't walk properly and this would be fine except he has french molt. Nearly all of his brothers and sisters have had it too and Kirsty tells me that his is a mild case but i don't like the fact that he will sit on the bottom of the cage all his life. Is there anything i can do for him? Will he ever fly? Also how do I wean him? Thanks for your help Luv Kate
