I think it was on Auto, is it best to have flash on or off ?

 

I will get a picture of the parents if I can, mum is rarely out of the box these days.

Yeah Ritchie...having the flash on makes the cere colour not show as normal so harder for us to accurately sex the babies for you. If its automatic then cover the flash with some tape while you take the picture :doh:

I am not sure what they are eating, but the grey one looks to have a very poopy bottom. Watch that.

I will try and cover the flash for budgie shots - thanks for the tip.

 

As for the poopy bottom, its not as such. they seem to like sitting in the egg and biscuit mix.

I still have trouble sexing baby budgies so let me know what you think.

Bubs are in a new cage now as mum was getting annpoyed with them as she has a new clutch of eggs. This will be her last as its her third and I feel she needs a rest.

 

I tried washing the egg a biscuit stains off when moving them but not a great deal of luck hehehe.

 

Anyway thanks for looking.

Left to right.........boy, boy/girl and girl. Middle one could go either way, but i think boy.

Three clutches is one too many really, depending on how many babies she raised in the other two clutches.

I thought I read here that she can have up to 4 clutches ?? Hmmm

She has had five chicks so far - not large clutches. I'll definately be giving her a rest then.
