Posted November 24, 200915 yr Mozzie & Bubbles Mozzie has been under my care for a year and was a couple of months old when i got him While Bubbles has only been under my care for about 4 months and I can really only guess as to her age. They are very affectionate and usually follow each other around the cage and I will usually catch the male feeding the hen at least once a day. Im hoping to get them breeding but dont want to do so if it will cause them problems.

November 25, 200915 yr well it is a big risk not knowing the age of a hen when concidering breeding. many complications can occur with young mums or dads. breeding is complicated altogether. just letting you know "how long till this pair should be ready" if your hen and cock are at the correct breeding age (12 months or so ) they sound as you say to start to be bonding. four weeks of earlier after they are in a correct breeding setup the male may mate with the hen but they both have to be incondition, the males cere bright blue the females a cinnimon brown. im not sure if what i had just told you is what you wanted to know but haha i told you anyway goodluck and feel free to throw out as many questions as needed\wanted. xx Elise xx

December 8, 200915 yr Author Do you have a clear closeup picture of Bubbles showing her iris rings ? Is one of these clear enough
December 8, 200915 yr well i cant see the eyes properly but haha maybie im getting old (im 15) but judging from what i can see, i can see no apareent iris rings , but i am sure someone will be able to be of help to you.
December 8, 200915 yr I see some darker ones, she looks about 1+. No expert though, so may need some other advice
