Hi all, I have 3 baby quails plus parents. I have noticed babies losing feathers and thought they may be moulting. Yesterday found Mum plucking the feathers.Dad has been great with them but it's Mum doing the plucking. Have caged chicks away from both parents, they were fully feathered.Is this normal and will feathers grow back? I haven't bred them before so thanks for any help. :D

best bet is to try and find a quail forum...

 

she might b like my ones the hens can get really angry and sometime have fight with others. one of my hens when she was lying eggs she a attacked my budgie
