November 18, 200915 yr If parents are not grey or grey green then the babies can't be grey green. They may well be olive by the looks of them but need a head shot to see the cheek patches.

November 21, 200915 yr Author Dad... My friend had to hold him she couldn't use my camera.....she wanted gloves - 10 sizes too big.... Mum and Dad I put them in a cage for the pictures.... chick 1 chick 2 - (green) chick 3 chick 4 chick 5 Kaz....I have in my notes that I put these two together on 23/09/09 and the first egg was laid on 04/10/09......
November 21, 200915 yr okay first the cock bird does seem to be normal green however your friend with the big gloves hid the part of the wing i wanted to see so that kills that however i want you to look see if his under wing is blue i would say its not but i still want you to check just to be sure that hen is sky violet would i be right in saying shes cinnamon or is she just normal spangle i cant see her back in picture ? this little one is his cheek patches kind of look black or really dark purple ?or is it just the picture ? this next chick his patches also look purple not blue like dads am i right or wrong please tell me ? this one is deep purple patches and going on the bronze color he looks to me to be holding violet and possibly yellow suffuse why i ask about the father ? dad would have to be split blue to produce a blue chick so he could be split to blue with the violet modifier(only a thought ) how ever he also looks like he could be single factor agf sky blue if he is he will look green as he does but under his wing will be blue across to under its wing pit :fear all along the edge working in which could explain this golden bronzed look of this young chick if not then im stumped myself :bump: i only say this as dads flights look to me to look quiet aqua-r-ee but this too could be my screen but in the black it seems more brownny with ting of bluish green aqua r ee colour i dont know ?you tell me dads patches look deep purple here indicating violet he may not be agf but hes definitely violet light green if not (i think) again a real aqua ting in tail feathers suggesting violet modifier in df form in this chick and a sky blue again cheeks look purple not blue so...?being spangled if was also df violet skyblue would look normal sky blue im so probbly compleatly off line here but thats what i see weather its right well ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? i wouldnt know as cant see birds but you can explain their collrs in detail may really help ??? i think we have a violet green a violet lt green spangle a ,another violet green Opaline maybe a mauve green ??(im ruling out the yf theory here ) a sky blue df violet and a cinnamon sky blue df spangle (if not cin still a df violet sky blue spangle ) but then i really dont know much about violet genetics im just going off the lookof the ones i have breed myself and have brought myself (ones with fam history )and they same colours as thoughs so........ anyone feel free to tell me im compleatly off trake here
