A Lot In The Mix..

I've been looking for split recessives to pair with my recessive pied cock and was helped out by a local breeder but I'm not sure if I should use her or not as she adds a lot of mutations to the mix.

She's a Olive Green Opaline Spangle Greywing/Recessive......

also thinking about using her with my greywing cock.

Opinions?

You dont want to put opaline into your greywings, so use her for recessive pied breeding. :)

Is there any particular reason why you shouldn't put Opaline into Greywings? I know that I like the way normal greywings look a lot better than Opalines but.........

If you are breeding for show your greywings must be normals. If you arent breeding for show it doesnt matter at all :fear

So non normals not allowed or just cant get them up to scratch for show?

Cannot be shown in the greywing category. It has to be shown as an Opaline AOSV if it is an opaline greywing. ( AOSV is opaline any other standard variety )

She's a pretty girl but I won't be using her until next year sometime as she was bred this year, looking forward to seeing her at full maturity.
