Hi I have a hen named Mia who has been mating with Max for about a week she has picked a nestbox and sits in it most of the day but has not as yet laid an egg?She is about 18months old & Max is 2 1/2 years old.Is this something to worry about or is this normal budgie behaviour?She has mated several times a day over the last 6 days.

Seven to ten days for an egg. Be patient ...it will happen based on what you have described :emoticon112:
