Posted October 27, 200915 yr Here is a couple of my pairs that i have down. Interested to hear your thoughts. First Pair Second pair Cock and pair number two's eggs Do you think they are fertile by their colour? What can i expect out of these pairs?

I have candled them and I think one is fertile but not one hundred percent sure. They are the first one is only a few days away from hatching.

October 27, 200915 yr You have some nice birds there JQ, the first cock looks opaline So you Will 50% Split opaline cocks 50% opaline hens The pied looks cinnamon and opaline so the same goes for them as above but it will be 50% split cinnamon opaline cocks 50% cinnamon opaline hens

Remember that the chicks will be split for Rec Pieds/Harlequins and you'll need to breed 2 split Rec Pieds together to get the improvement. If you do not have another Rec Pied budgie to breed more splits to breed back to the chicks from this pair, I would recommend you let this pair do one round together and then split them up and introduce the hen to another cock bird.
