it thought i share the stages of my bird room build

the shed is of Ebay and messures 4.26m x 2.2m or 14' by 7' 4"

i had to add 3x2 carcassing to the hight to allow for the lights

i'd swap it all for a tin shed in australia

england is too wet, especially in recent years

Yeah...I don't know how I would go in your climate, my husband is from Wales and he want's to go back in the next 5 years for a visit....

 

We in Australia are on the other side of the coin, we need rain so bad, it's very dry here in Queensland, bushfires all the time..... :) Not really looking forward to a scorching summer......

i totally agree with splat on this

your rooms great

and i move my birds into the open air in summer and dont usually breed them between dec and over jan as too hot

although i think i over come that problem last year with a mesh door i made so ....we will see :)

thats a serious downside

i hope it will not be as bad as the last time

i've seen the pics on the news and that was pretty scary

thanks guys. i also have a mesh door so i can leave the maindoor open during the summer and incase something escapes

thats my old birdroom Kaz

i found it a little restricting so i bought the big shed and returned my garage back to normal

once i boarded the shed i just transferred all bits over

only the flight needed modifying
