Chicks Chicks Chicks Its Happening

Featured Replies

yeah totally no feathers anymore very sad

so kaz what would you do in my situation ,...you dont need to answer as i know its a very personal thing

im just trying to get lots of opinions

before i actually decide what to do with birds

oh will the feathers grow back after first molt will they ever fly

In my experience some do grow back all their feathers and some dont. Hanging onto them for a few months will give you the answers you seek. Some grow them straight back and others struggle to.

Wish I could be more help, but energy levels and motivation due to losing two Dads has me feeling a little "flat" :D

G_B, this is probably what you don't want to hear, and I don't mean to make light of a bad situation for you at all, but these are the sweetest little poppets I have seen..... ;)

Very very nice dom pied hen GB.

Don't ditch those FM birds just yet. If they recover then use them. If they don't then rehome or keep if you don't mind non-flyers.
