October 19, 200915 yr Author First dom pieds down seems too grey to be opaline. Should be pure white all over, and even the back of the head is grey down.Gorgeous albino  What cutie! well im with you their but she is defenently opaline and im thinking she may be a he and im confused as to this as for a few reasons 1 ) i cabinet breed 2) the hen is norm and dad is norm dom 3) they been paired for 1 month before box goes in 4)if by chance their was some mirical where she was fertile before and (i dont see that happening ) here first mate who she hated was a grey green cinn split blue split lace wing and they were two gether for 2 weeks before she atacked him and i took him out left her for a week then introduced the dom pie cock ??? but she opaline i got new cam today so will take pics tomorrow as i said she opaline you will see (has to be she even if it looks cock )

October 21, 200915 yr Looking good GB though I am looking forward to when they get a tad bigger, say in a week's time I always find chickies look scrawny at this stage. I am no expert at the early sexing but from the width of the cere I'd take a punt and say hen chick. Let's see what the more experienced members say though

Let's see what the more experienced members say though at two to 4 days i said hen but now im not sure the other one was a cock forsure although he didnt need to be with us he was badly deformed leg wize he went to new home but he went down hill over night for the best personally
October 22, 200915 yr Author my chicks today first my albino if its a boy its going to be called benny now my doms to start with the one i have not shown before its a norm i think its going to be opaline but it got plucked by its foster mum not the hen their with now so and i didnt reconize the fact as it was so little i moved it on bass it wasnt getting feed enough then relized it should have feathers so :fingerscrossed: my baldy the last baby is next then the violet dom then opaline bluegrey and a medium grey
October 26, 200915 yr Author hi all i have updated pics from today question is it me or are these birds taking ages to feather is their something wrong or am i impationt or do i have to worry about now ? baldy unfortinanty because of my bad managment and not being able to tell a plucked chick in nest i was to late moveing balsy in with his brothers and sisters im hopeing he will recover i only relized as he was born same day as second chick you can see the drematic diffrents oh i feel so bad my albino i have named platerpus as in dutch it translates to flat cat it seems he lies flat as posable at times i nere well thats it for todays update what you all think are the growing at normal raite or not remembering these my first ever full bred show birds im only use to pet and half pet half show which seem to feather alot faster
October 26, 200915 yr I think your birds look wonderful GB. Their feathers are growing at the correct rate, so do not worry. Watch out for Kaz, she will want the pieds
October 26, 200915 yr Yeah nice job GB, they look great. It always seems like they take ages to feather when you are excited for them to grow up and get big!! That eldest opaline looks to have a nice blow on him! Nice job
October 26, 200915 yr Author lmao so i have been reading dave im actually glad you commented thanks as i was getting a tad concerned as for kaz wanting my pieds im not sure they are within her standed although for my very first show birds and a pairing i was told was really bad im very pleased with the rezult and can not wait for them to grow heres one i missed the baby and a nice shot of platypus(spelt correct this time ) i think .
