Posted October 14, 200915 yr hi, im introducing myself and our pet budgie, rocky who is a male blue budgy that we 've owned for around 2 and a half years and had since he was a baby, he was bought hand reared so he was mostly tame when we bought him. If I can i'll put a picture of him in the post, however its not the best picture. I do have some questions about birds budgies mostly of course but i probably won't ask them here, however someday i would be interested in budgie breeding as a hobby however with 1 or 2 pairs of budgies (not with rocky of course because he may no longer pay attention to any of us if he were put with a female), so one question that i'll ask now is, is it very difficult to breed budgies if you have one pair male and female with a cage and nesting box? Thanks, P.S. another question rocky shows some pretty weird behaviour and often tries to mate with people's hands and seems to get very excited when he does, is it normal for a budgie to try mate with humans?
