Crop Feeding

If any breeders that are in the Brisbane surrounding area that ever have to crop feed a baby budgie can you PLEASE PM me, I would love to watch and learn this skill.

A very valuable and necessary skill to learn for breeders and budgie owners alike. Its not just about feeding babies but also a valuable way to get meds into birds or emergency calcivet for eggbound hens too.

I agree with Kaz.

Good luck with finding a demonstrator. If you have troubles finding someone, look up your local budgie club and they should be able to find someone to show you, if not, get the vet to teach you.

Didn't think of that Liv, thanks so much, will call on Monday.

I will also join one as well, not sure which one is my area though, will have to find out.

A member from my club showed it was less scary once I was shown probably.

PM Daz about which clubs are best for you in your area :)

Well no luck with Vets in the area... :sadsorry: Will try the Avian Vets that are a little bit out of town.....

The ABS is the club closest to me so I am going to join that one, hopefully someone there can help me....

I am also going to ring the RSPCA today...see if anyone there can help.

Every time I think of Cricket I feel so sad and a bit sick.....I am determined NEVER be in that position ever again...

At least we learn lessons by all this and we become better bird owners/keepers.
