Mate I recently paid $520 for a bird that looked like that So yours has be be worth something like that too.

Wow, Im happy to get any violet in a nest, but im a long way off violets with any show quality really. I have friends with 200-300 birds and they only have a handful of violets. Only one big breeder i know has show type violets but she doesnt sell them, only the runty offspring. But I do have one of those runts since I take all the violets that were available and I still only have a handful at best.

I am lucky Dean as the the parents seem to through good violets . from what I have bred the violets that come out of this nest are outstanding compared to say the greys.So the violet gene must be strong. And the viloets are throwing the genes to their offspring will put photos on layer tomorrow to show you all. .
