if their like purpleish blackish grey hes mauve

 

also whats mum and dad cause i recon hes mauve not violet grey

but that is poss but only if theirs grey factour involved which i dont think their is in your violet line

Cobalt spangle but I think ke is sky violet as you can see a lot of violet in him and he is different than my other cobalts and sky b cinnamon yellow face spangle type 2

 

The hen later after skiting that I have no trouble with photobucket it turns around and kicks me in the but. every time I try to select a picture and copy it aborts on me. agggrrhhh

I put her in the breeding box with a violet he is her half uncle hope I get fertile eggs but he seems to like doing it to the perch and whats worse is he likes one hen only he is a pain in the but too

He is the father a violet spangle and I think sky violet spangle and a violet opaline the nother is out of the violet so they were half brother sister mating this is him

and these are the offspring

i really am interested in a few more birds from this line when you yourself have some un needed culls

im hopeing to keep her quality and breed this look into alot of birds useing her as a foundation

A friend has her 2 sisters a yellow face violet beautiful bird but no feather length and a yellow face white DF spangle and they are small have no feather so be careful what you breed her with.

next year i plan to put her two nubblys grey green /lacewing cock not to get lacewings although i may but as he is cinnamon and /blue he has the nices blow and feather lenght

i have resently acuiared more birds some of beautiful quality and feather so i will take some snaps and post my flock as it now is

in a feww days time

This year

Yellow DF spangle full sisiter above there are 3 yellow DF spangles in the nest

 

this one is out of a full sister above and a half brother mating the father is a Dk green spangle out of the violet and the mother a white Df spangle that is why there ia a suffusion

this one is a very lovely sky violet if your wanting to breed violets he would be a fantastic addition color wise

 

you sure put him to this hen or are the full blooded ??related
